The day I buried my beloved Ruby-dog, I was moved to capture the brilliance of the sumac leaves against the sky. I took that as a gift from her. A friend told me that a chickadee brought her peace in a time of great loss. I felt that to be true as well. This print was begun in mono print acrylics and then scanned and digitally composed.
